I saw this beautiful tableau from the former Chelsea home of Alexandra Tolstoy, and was inspired to paint it! A woman of incredible style, strength, and resilience whom I greatly admire, Alexandra was selling off many treasures from her former life (If you know, you know), via Christie’s in London. A beautiful and amazing lesson in letting go and moving on!
